Born to Act Players

The Born to Act Players is a unique performing theater
company for actors with and without disabilities...........
OUR MISSION
The mission of the BORN TO ACT PLAYERS is to provide a supportive environment for students with special needs to learn and grow by expressing themselves through the performing arts.
OUR PROGRAM
The BORN TO ACT PLAYERS meet every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cast members are taught theater vocabulary, body awareness, being focused in the moment, and improvisational skills.
Students perform full plays, one acts, and monologues by famous authors, from Woody Allen to Shakespeare.
Musical training includes vocal exercises, singing and dancing, both choreographed and interpretive.
Students participate in productions and showcases presented twice a year.
Several Born to Act members are working actors. Some of their credits include “ER,” “Saving Grace,” “CSI,” Def Leppard Music Video, Equity production of A Christmas Carol and many, many more.

"Born to Act Players Got Talent 2 " was a wonderful success and I could not be more proud!
Every performer performed beautifully and our incredible audience were moved by the heartfelt performances.
We're so thankful to our talented assistants and each member of our team. We're grateful for the parents support and their helping hands.
Thank you to all who helped and all those who came with enthusiasm and open hearts to watch our show.
You were all amazing and so very much appreciated!
